Peter Phok is a dedicated film producer with nearly two decades of experience in bringing bold, genre-defining stories to life. Known for his close collaborations with filmmaker Ti West on films like The House of the Devil, The Innkeepers, and the X trilogy (X, Pearl, and this summer’s MaXXXine), Peter has made a name for himself by championing independent voices and unique narratives.
His diverse work spans feature films and groundbreaking interactive video games like Until Dawn (BAFTA-winning for Best Original Property), Hidden Agenda, and The Inpatient. These projects highlight his forward-thinking approach to storytelling, blending cinematic techniques with innovative gameplay.
Peter’s career began at Glass Eye Pix, Larry Fessenden's renowned genre-focused production company, where he produced a range of indie horror films including Stake Land and I Sell the Dead. Today, as President of Phok Productions, he continues to support filmmaker-driven projects from his bases in Los Angeles and New York.
With a strong background in line production and post-production supervision, Peter excels at guiding projects from development through delivery, always keeping creative integrity and budget in balance. In addition to feature films, Phok Productions also offers consulting services for short-format content, including commercials and digital media, providing expertise to elevate projects across all formats.
An active member of the Producers Guild of America, Gotham, and Film Independent, Peter holds a B.F.A. in Film from the School of Visual Arts. Whether producing a film, supervising post-production, or consulting on digital media, Peter is committed to pushing the boundaries of storytelling in every medium.
